This lotion is amazing. I heard there isn't really much you can do to combat stretch marks - you are either genetically prone to them or not. I have stretch marks from prior weight gain/loss so when I got pregnant I assumed my stomach would be covered. I used this every single day and didn't get a single stretch mark until the last week I was pregnant. I got 2 small ones on my stomach but frankly that was my fault because the last week I was pregnant was also the week of Christmas and I was eating approximately 200k calories a day. No lotion in the world was going to keep the stretch marks off from that quick weight gain. I also love the smell and feel of this lotion. I will continue to use it post pregnancy. Big fan.

  • Gave me a HORRIBLE ITCHY rash

DO NOT USE!! I am 39 weeks pregnant and this lotion gave me a EXTREMELY bad rash all over on my belly. Extremely itchy and red and my Obgyn said it’s starting to blister on me. Stay away!!!

  • Itchy & Clumpy

The lotion doesn't actually soak in. Instead it forms obnoxious clumps as if rubbing glue onto your skin rather than lotion. Yuck. & it made me itch. Back to using regular lotion for me.

  • Lovely cream!

I really love this product! I started using it roughly at about 3 months pregnant and it is one of those products that did not make me feel nauseous (as I did react to quite a few perfumed products). The texture of the cream is very pleasant and soft, made my skin moisturised and velvety to the touch. Absorbs quite quickly, but the moisture is retained throughout the whole day (I was normally applying it in the morning). Obviously, every person is different, but it seems to work for me keeping the stretch marks away. I would definitely recommend this product.

  • Great product at a great price!

I had been using Bio oil for stretch marks during my pregnancy and went to re buy some more and saw the current price, so decided to look for an alternative that had good reviews and was cheaper. This product is fantastic and very satisfied. It was around £16 cheaper!! And feels lovely on the skin. I am 38 week's pregnant and use it twice a day. I already had stretch marks prior to my pregnancy, but they don't appear to have changed colour or have really developed anymore. Love this cream and will be purchasing some more to use post pregnancy as well.

  • It's a fake

This is not the product you are paying for. Having almost finished my current bottle bought from the high street, I ordered this. It's not the real product. When I compared to my other bottle the fragrance, colour and consistency are totally different. Will not be buying again.

I had no idea cocoa butter could do such nice things to scars! My physical therapist used it on me for scar therapy (I have a scar that goes from the middle of my back across to under my arm, so quite a large scar), so I bought this to use at home. Typically, my scars tend to widen a bit, sometimes just in one place, and they take a long time to lose their redness, but this, one of the largest scars I've gotten, is just a fine line, and is disappearing much faster than any of my other scars. I think the smell, although not a smell I'd describe as necessarily attractive (i.e., it's not one I would apply because of the perfume), is pleasant and not really noticeable. Absorption is very good, and I don't have a sticky feel afterwards.

  • Smells like plastic, second purchase

Do not buy! This is not the correct lotion! It's awful, it smells like rubber or plastic. When you apply the lotion to your belly and let it dry, it starts to peel/flake off like old skin. Super gross! Too top it off there are no returns. I was stupid enough to buy another one thinking it was just old and I was wrong. Two bottles full to throw in the trash!!! Waste of money!! . Very disappointed

  • I used to like this but...

I used to love this. Then two things happened. First, they changed the scent. I loved the scent of the cocoa. Then I looked more closely at the ingredient list. Don't know if it's a new ingredient list, but the product contains petrolatum, propylene glycol, and mineral oil as ingredients #5, 6, 7 - all of which are not good for skin. Plus a ton of chemicals farther down the list.

I won't use it anymore because of the ingredients, but I also notice the new formula doesn't keep my skin hydrated as long as the old one did.

  • I like the way this product feels on the body. It is good but I don't really see any effect on my body. I love it because of the cocoa butter. I got from the drug store. Let's see how long it would take me before it works.
