After seeing a lot of advertisements for this product, I decided to give it a try. I was curious to see how this serum deals with wrinkles and lifts the neck. The bottom line is that this product is garbage! It did absolutely nothing.
I followed the instructions carefully but there was no sign of improvement, my skin tightened within in seconds as I applied it under one eye. It felt mighty uncomfortable and it looked as if someone stretched and hardened my skin. I removed it a half hour later to reveal a swollen blood vessel and very puffy skin. This was also the case for my neck, for it didn’t show any improvement as well. The customer service is also weak and they don’t really help you out with the troubles. Personally, I don’t think this product will remain on the market very long. It is awful. You better need to find other alternatives to Plexaderm. Please just take a look at various Plexaderm reviews before purchase!
Plexaderm Skincare is a brand new product line from the company called True Earth Health Products. The manufacturer is based out of Farmingdale, NY.
Plexaderm manufactures face creams and serums with anti-aging and lifting properties to make customers have a youthful look. Although there results are temporary (about 8 hours) and the skin appears like before after a face wash.
Plexaderm Face & Neck Lift Serum is an anti-aging plexaderm rapid reduction serum, which is meant to lessen the development of under eye bags and wrinkles and lift the neck for several hours. The cream should be applied to clean, dry skin. The product comes in a pump, and only a small amount should be applied. Start off with an amount that is half the size of a pea.
Plexaderm has a small list of ingredients including: water (aqua), sodium silicate, magnesium aluminum silicate, cellulose gum, acetyl hexapeptide-8, Yellow 5 (CI 19140), Red 40 (CI 16035), phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin.
The other ingredients include dyes, and cellulose gum, which is a thickener that also helps to make a film on the skin. Acetyl hexapeptide-8 is a synthetically derived peptide used in various skincare and makeup products and has water binding features. Phenoxyethanol is found in green tea but is often created in a laboratory, and helps to fight bacteria and also works as a preservative. Ethylhexylglycerin works as a skin conditioning element as well as a preservative.
To truly understand how Plexaderm works, you have to look at the two key ingredients- sodium silicate and magnesium aluminum silicate. Sodium silicate works as a sealant. Another way to think about it is that it’s like sticking a tape on your skin. It glides onto the skin in a liquid or gel form and when it dries, a thin film forms which causes a light tightening or pulling of the skin. When applied to under eye bags and wrinkles, it can cause a temporary tightening effect and the skin appears tauter. It also seems to have a lifting effect on skin once it is fully dried.
Magnesium aluminum silicate works in co-occurrence with the sodium silicate. While sodium silicate “pulls” and tightens the wrinkles or eye bags, magnesium aluminum silicate works by filling in the wrinkle and helping it to look fleshy and even. When combined, the idea is that the ingredients work to pull, tighten and fill in the skin to give it a youthful look. While this is true in theory, keep in mind that any tightening and smoothing effect gained from these ingredients will only be temporary.
Some might ask that how much Does Plexaderm Cost? Well you can buy a single bottle of Plexaderm for $59.95.
There are lots of Plexaderm trial videos and reviews online for you to check out. The company also claims there are trial bottles for customers to try them out for free.
In a test when image analysis was used, temporary improvement continued to be seen for up to 10 hours. Plexaderm works best when applied to clean and dry skin. Allow at least 8-10 minutes for Plexaderm to set before applying anything over it.
This product may temporarily reduce wrinkles and lines for some consumers, but this is not a long term solution to healthy skin aging. For many customers, results are temporary. Plexaderm doesn't actually increase skin health, but only gives the appearance of skin health.
One common complaint from Plexaderm reviewers is that the cream leaves a white residue. There should be little to no irritation of the skin and side effects are limited. Any product has the potential to cause irritation in the skin; always do a patch test first.
Use Plexaderm anywhere on your face or neck, being careful to avoid your eyes. Rinse the product off whenever you'd normally wash your face, such as before bedtime.
It does not appear that Plexaderm products are currently available from Walmart. To minimize the risk of purchasing a fake or faulty product, it is advisable to purchase directly from the manufacturer.
Yes. After the product is washed off, your skin should appear as it normally would without Plexaderm.
