What Are The Key Ingredients in Olay Products?

Niacinamide, panthenol, glycerin, and silicones are the main ingredients in Olay skincare products. These top ingredients improve skin moisture and hydrate it, improve skin firmness, repair skin barrier, reduce inflammation, and prevent wrinkles. Olay products include some of the best ingredients required to have healthier skin.

Where Are Olay Skincare Products Sold?

Olay skincare products are available on the brand’s official website, as well as third-party websites including Amazon, Ulta, etc. Its products are also sold at some drugstores such as Walmart, Target, and so forth.

Is Olay Cruelty-Free?

Unfortunately, Olay is not cruelty-free, as a company that tests on animals owns it. In some countries such as China, Olay products are available and it means that they have to be tested on animals just as the country's law requires.

No refunds for ACCIDENTS

I made an order for over $100, I messed up the order so I made another order thinking I could cancel the wrong order I made. They refused to give me a refund because I used the ad I'm a video game. I tried 3 times to see if it could be fixed and they still refused to give me a refund for my accidental order. Over $100 down the drain. Don't buy from their website, it's all cheaper at Walmart and if you mess up your order they won't fix it. Seems like they don't care about their customers. Me, my family and friends will never buy Olay again.

Fast results

I used to use Olay Pro-x clear. It cleared my skin and faded spots in 3-5 days. Clear skin. I was devastated when it was discontinued. I've been waiting to find another Olay product with the same results. This serum does that and more! Not only has it help treat acne and prevent new problems, but also has brightened my complexion, faded old scars and pigmentation! Not to mention addressing fine lines and wrinkles. I use it with the famous red jar and can't say enough about my skin.

After only a few days noticeable results , more even tone!

I use before bed. After only a few days I had brighter skin, smaller pores, noticeable more even tone, and no more flaky skin.

I got this to help with my large pores and stubborn acne from wearing a mask. I couldn't believe the difference I saw after one use! I have pretty reactive skin but my skin loves this stuff! No reaction, no irritation, just beautiful results. I will definitely be buying this again.

love it for breakouts

I've had this stuff for a year now. It last so long. I only use it when I get breakout which is usually that time of the month. And this stuff in just 2 days get's rid of the pimples. I don't use it everyday which I don't think your suppose too. I could be totally wrong. But for me I use CeraVe as a overall face cream and on certain days I'll use the rental serum. It also smooths out the skin beautifully. I wake up to glowing skin which is so nice to see it has no smell or stinging. I do have sensitive-ish skin this doesn't bother my skin what so ever. I don't wear it under makeup. I use all my face creams at night. I do have combination skin mostly oily i plan on buying more soon sense I'm almost out. It's wonderful, if you are sensitive maybe try and do this serum once a week to kinda incorporate it into your skin routine hope this helps.

This stuff is amazing!...

This stuff is amazing! I received this product through influenster for review and I'm so glad I did! I use this stuff almost every night and it has worked wonders. If you're not sure what retinol does (like I was) it's a very mild product that helps promote skin cell growth and helps even out skin tone and get rid of dark spots and acne scars (of which I have plenty). I have acne scarring and my face is always red, but this stuff has improved that so much over the last month. I would definitely recommend this product to everyone I know, just remember to keep using it, because you might not see much happen in just a few nights.

MY SKIN IS PEELING, RED, STINGING, IRRITATED, SWOLEN AND LOOKS TERRIBLE! I personally will throw this product in the trash, but if you choose to use it you might try using for one night a week to make sure it doesn't ruin your skin.

NOT a serum

This product is NOT a serum, it's water in a bottle. You can't even apply because the product runs right through your fingers. I am returning immediately.

Okay, but not that great

I’m conflicted because this doesn’t hurt my skin but it’s hasnt done anything for it either. I have applied this serum daily for 2 months now (2 bottles) and I just don’t see a positive difference. Doesn’t seem very special or anything that would make you skin more radiant. Too bad.

Thought I would love this but was very disappointed. Product is very thin, almost like it was watered down. Not like the other great products, also leaves my face dry.

Huge disappointment in this product

Very pricey for a product that doesn’t work, Product was very watery, applied no difference or visible signs of any difference. I highly recommend shopping other products

This came highly recommended - wanted to love it. Very nice feel, great that it's fragrance- free, but it broke me out like crazy....stopped using it then went back to it (3 times) each time it did the same thing. I don't know, maybe it's too rich for me but i"ll have to find something else.

Stupid Olay reformulating a decent product when it was perfectly fine. Didn't you learn from your fiasco with your Olay Complete Sensitive Skin when you reformulated that, we rebelled and you had to go back to the good stuff?

  • Andkidmakes3

Oil of Olay Regenerist is a very harsh product. After my 3rd application my eyes where swollen with a lost hive looking marks. Disappointed and will never buy this product again and will warn people about it.

  • Italianmama

Great moisturizer. I bought mine from Costco for 30 dollars. Affordable and effective. You only need a tiny tiny scosh on your hand to put on your face and it works very well.

If you want to buy an over priced primer, buy this! The only good thing about this product is that it is fragrance free. I am so disappointed in this because it sits on the skin and does not absorb. And at first this product fools you because you think your skin feels really smooth, but it's basically a joke. When I wake up in the morning, my face feels oily and slick and it's because the product that never absorbed overnight. I have used this both morning and night and I have a greasy looking face a few hours after applying foundation. My skin type is dry and hasn't been oily in 15 years! I don't ever write negative reviews either, so this says a lot. I threw this in the trash this morning. I have read this has been reformulated and there are a lot of disappointed women because the original version was great.

To be honest, I am undecided about this product. I like the inclusion of Niacinimide (Vitamin B3) good for skin healing and to promote moisture retention and barrier function, a little swack of Green Tea (not very much present in the formula it seems, but antioxidants nonetheless) and hylauronic acid (water retention) and some olive oil (deeper moisture) Initially I LOVED the texture and weight of this product, even finding it enough moisture and comfortable-feeling enough to wear on its own without another moisturizer or primer or foundation over the top. I wore this in day and at nighttime. Then, odd things began to happen. Overtime my skin became less liking of the feel and it started to make it feel a bit cloggy- odd as my skin is dehydrated and it started going red upon application. I wonder if this could be if not an allergic, at least an irritated reaction to the amount of silcones in the product. Literally the second or third or thereabouts ingredients on the list. I think outweighing most of the ingredients that I outlined above that drew me to and to initially liking this product, but I think it is just making my skin feel clogged and stuffed, though no real breakouts have surfaced. I am almost afraid to continue using it as it might spell trouble as I go on, but I don't want to waste it. But because of its hard-to-pin-down effects on my skin and in a trusted routine where nothing else changed but this, or could have reacted negatively with this product, I am hesitant to recommend and would not repurchase. For reference, I have been talking about and have only ever tried the fragrance-free version

So I guess we eventually have to accept that everything changes with time, and we can't turn back the clock. However, this product certainly helps with delaying and correcting some of my skin concerns. I started getting drier skin (although I still have oily spots) and lines started to show. My new routine has done wonders to correct this. I first use a soft, moist towel every night to exfoliate and then use Clarins Cottonseed cleanser - you'll be amazed at how clean and smooth your skin will feel. Then I apply the Olay serum and finish with Clarins Santal oil (better for drier skin than Lotus oil). My skin feels nourished and not greasy. Other than that, I always use Neutrogena Ultra Sheer sunblock during the day and a light brushing of Chanel Vitalumiere powder. My skin looks better than it did 20 years ago

I've tried many products to keep the wrinkles away, but I keep coming back to this! I've done a lot of consumer research and it is one of the best, budget friendly serums on the market!

Recently, having noticed my skin veering more towards 'normal' and allowing me to try more richer products that I normally wouldn't have, I decided to give the Regenerist serum a try. I actually don't find it at all greasy, it seems to sink in nicely (I only use a very small amount) and goes well before using my moisturizer and CC cream/sun protection. I don't use it twice a day as instructed as I find that breaks me out, but I am able to get away with rotating between some of the other serums I am using - for example on a Monday, Wednesday and once on the weekend. I have noticed my skin looks/feels slightly better since using this, although it's quite heavily silicone-based so I'm not sure how much of the 'feel' is down to that. The inclusion of Niacinamide which is quite high up on the ingredients list is probably the reason my skin looks slightly better as it is a great ingredient. Would be great if I could use this twice daily, every day to see how much more difference that would make but that would not turn out well, knowing my skins' intolerance to silicones, so I'll stick with the routine that's suiting me so far.
