There are so many different Eyelash Serums on the market now that are less priced and have fewer adverse effects, in my opinion. Although the serum lengthened my lashes, it also darkened and made my eyelids extremely sensitive. When I quit using it, it vanished. It gets two stars since it does the job... but I've since moved to something less expensive, with fewer side effects, and the same outcomes.

Latisse made my eyelashes longer, but not thicker. And unfortunately I'm one of the people for whom this product is irritating. It makes my eyelids red and itchy and if any runs into my eyes, my eyes get red. I also get a droopy/dark undereye look from using this. But the extreme eyelid itchiness, irritation and redness is what caused me to stop using it. YMMV, of course.

Caused Eye Twitching

I was unable to use Latisse long enough to see results. By the end of week 2, my left eye started twitching uncontrollably. I stopped use for a week, and the twitching slowed but once I applied it again, the twitching came back. I stopped use entirely and had to use eye drops to make the twitching manageable. It has been about 3 weeks, and the twitching has mostly stopped, and I am only using the eye drops about once per day. I did not use eye drops at all before I began Latisse. I will not use this product again as I am highly concerned that twitching will not go away next time.

seems i am one of the minority here but want to share that my experience with this was not good. pressure headaches even when used just on brows. stepped up use on lashes and within days the itching was bad and purple around eyes was just too much for even makeup to hide. 2 times had to discard contact lenses in public because of unbearable dryness and grittiness-- first in one eye then both-even using moisturizing drops constantly. so in 3 days skin color so much better and will try contacts again in a couple days. just not worth the danger.

Got a generic version from All Day Chemist. It works, gave me beautiful long lashes, but the side effects made me think that it is not worth it. I experienced drying in and around my eyes, dark brown lines where I was applying the product. My eyes looked and felt TIRED, I looked OLDER because of that. Definitely not worth it for me. Could be, that the original formula does not cause all of that.

I started using latisse abuot 6 weeks ago. As my lashes have slowly started to grow, i had to stop using it because it was really irritating my eyes and causing a redness on my eyelids. In addition, my right eye started to become permanently blurry, as if a glaze was over my eyeball. Unfortunately i cannot use this anymore and am going to try either Neulash or Lashifix as they are not supposed to have severe side effects. I do not recommend Latisse as its side effects are scary. I'd be careful with this product.

I have used Latisse often over the past several years and each time I apply the treatment with any regularity my lashes get wonderfully long and dark. I have had no adverse side effects at all - the only issue I have had is remembering to apply it. Then - of course - there is the price. Although I love the effects, I am afraid the cost is a bit much. I am going to try Rapid Lash to see if it is as effective. I will say, though, it is great to actually HAVE nice lashes again!

Latisse gave me great long lashes, then it gave me cysts all around the inner edges of my eyes. YUCK!

This is a review for LATISSE not the generic. I have been using it for a little longer than a month. There has been some growth but definitely not as much as I expected. I use it pretty consistently. There have been a few nights I forgot to use it but I don't know if it would even make a difference. I have blue eyes and there has been no change to my eye color. No darkening on the eyelid either. My eyes have been drier than usual but nothing too bad. I use an eyeliner brush to apply like most people mentioned. I wouldn't purchase this again. I will just wear false lashes when I go out because the effects are not that dramatic for me.

I've been using Latisse for almost 2 years. I am not going to repurchase it anymore. My lashes are quite a bit longer, but I actually feel like they are thinner and lighter! When I started using Latisse people would comment on my lashes because they were so dark and thick, but they were short! Now I don't get any comments on my lashes, like I said, they are long, but they are very light in color. I wanted Latisse so I could stop using mascara, but it didn't really work out perfectly for me. Plus, the side effects are getting annoying. At first the dryness and itching didn't bother me much. Well, the itching stopped mostly but the dryness persists! I also feel like there is more pressure on/in my eyeballs, it is a weird feeling and that is the true reason that I'm not going to continue with Latisse. Increased ocular pressure can be a side effect, I'm not sure if that's what I'm feeling, but it freaks me out way too much.

This is available via prescription from a dermatologist. It is expensive, but it works....really well! The only reason I don't use this product anymore is because there is a side effect where it can turn blue or green eyes brown. To me, this is not worth the risk of losing my green eyes!

I'm pleased with my natural lash length, but who doesn't want to to pump it up a bit? I purchased Latisse and I can vow for it's efficiency. It works very well and others even noticed the increase in my lashes. I have purchased it twice. However.... When I bought this, one of the receptionist's at the Dr.'s office I purchased it from told me to NOT use the applicators it came with, as they end up using more of the product than is actually needed. Instead, she suggested I use an eyeliner brush. Which leads to my second gripe....This product is ridiculously expensive. It works, but I don't think it's necessary to spend this much. I have been using RapidLash, at a third of the cost, and am pleased. For this reason, I will not purchase Latisse again.

Great product, my lashes grew longer as they stated. Only complaint is the cost and the stiff brushes they give you. Lately I've been purchasing the generic version and have been getting the same results.

I loved Latisse, but it is very pricey. So I decided to purchase the generic version of Latisse which is the Careprost. So happy ❤️ I finally found ‘HOTLASH247’ in Google and got careprost (same as Latisse, but it’s a way cheaper, thanks girls). There is no difference to me. Latisse and Careprost are the same thing. I could never go back to my normal lashes now. I have had phenomenal results with it. It is well worth the money for me. After trying it, I will never be without it! My lashes are twice as long and thick and I am already being asked if they’re natural, to which I can happily respond ”Yes”!
