FaceTheory Face Scrub Reviews

Introduction

Facial scrubs are an essential part of a skin care routine. What is a facial scrub? A facial scrub is usually a cream-based product that contains little exfoliating pieces that when massaged across the skin, help smooth the skin by physically lifting off dry, dead skin cells. They’ve been around for many, many years and while the formulas have changed a bit, they are still a necessity in your skin care routine.

Face Theory is among the top 10 brands introduced by brandsreviews according to users worldwide. Below, you can read .Face Theory reviews.

Apply it to slightly damp skin and massage in a circular motion to the entire face for 60 seconds. The key to getting the best results with a FaceTheory facial scrub is not to press hard on the skin, as this will cause irritation, even when using round grain scrubs. If you feel like your skin can use more exfoliation, it’s better to use it longer (90 seconds) than to apply extra pressure. Rinse off and proceed with toner, serum and moisturizer.

Face Scrub

Why and benefits?

Using a FaceTheory facial scrub can make your skin feel beautiful, youthful, and soft, like it's glowing. Unlike a regular soap or cleanser, a facial scrub uses small particles, beads, or chemicals to get rid of the old skin cells and make way for new ones in a process known as exfoliation.

Does FaceTheory Facial scrubs work?

FaceTheory Facial scrubs also work very well to keep the skin on the neck smooth to make exfoliation easier. When exfoliating, make sure to look upwards so the skin on the neck is nice and taut, which will make for easier use.

What does FaceTheory face scrub do?

FaceTheory Face scrub helps in exfoliating your skin, removing dead skin cells and dirt that clog pores and rejuvenates your skin.

Why Use a FaceTheory Face Scrub for Men?

A FaceTheory face scrub for men is one of the best products you can use in your arsenal of weapons for clear, healthy skin. We’ve discovered, however, that most men either overuse a face scrub or they don’t use one at all. Both scenarios are not best case. Read on to learn how using a face scrub for men properly can propel you to clearer, brighter skin.

Similar to washing your face, before using the FaceTheory scrub, rinse your face with warm water to open up the pores.  Apply a dime sized amount of men’s facial scrub to your skin and gently rub it, especially over the areas where your pores are the largest (usually nose and forehead). Remember though, the skin on your face is extremely delicate and it doesn’t take much to exfoliate it, so don’t scrub too hard. If using scrub before a shave, make sure to concentrate rubbing the scrub on the areas of your face you plan on shaving.

Questions and Answers

There is no set way, you can use it normally but massage it very gently for a minute or less. The key with oily skin is that you shouldn’t scrub excessively. Even though you might think that this could create a balance of oils on your skin, it doesn’t. It causes confusion for your oil glands leading to more acne.
It should be used once a month or once in two weeks. The type, amount and duration of FaceTheory scrub should cater your skin needs and remain monitored. Scrubbing your face excessively will dry it out, which could lead to an increase in sebum production and ultimately acne and irritation.

It didn't have that much functionality. I didn't notice any dramatic changes. It was so mediocre.

One month in and no results so far, very disappointed. Will be asking for a refund, what a waste of money.

I am very pleased with the article and the delivery, fast and correct!

The first days the skin was clean and fresh but after about 3 weeks my skin had more imperfections and stains than before. If you have a sensitive skin I do not recommend there are more options.

This is the first BHA I’ve tried. I use it as a spot treatment. It’s super gentle, brings spots to head much faster. I like the fact that it has an AHA in it too (lactic acid). I don’t think it’s strong enough for those with severe acne but I think it’s a great addition to your routine if you mild/moderate acne.

It’s okay not brilliant - I feel some products are worth the price I.e cleanser and night cream - however the spf gel does not sit nicely on my face and the day cream has made my face even worse. Sometimes you use products and they feel amazing right away, but with these you just don’t get that feel unfortunately.

Bought the clarifying cleanser 2 weeks ago and I am loving the way it has made my skin feel. I have acne prone skin and have started using an acne cream at the same time as this and the results have been great. Even in areas where I haven't put the cream, so this definitely works!

Truth be told, Dr Sturm’s Foam Cleanser & Facial Scrub are two products I’m hooked on- far more than her serums. I always wash with the Foam Cleanser, then follow with AMOREPACIFIC Enzyme Cleanser or this Facial Scrub. At first, I was unconvinced. I’ve been using Chanel’s Gommage Microperle Exfoliating Gel for and LOVE it. By the third use of Sturm’s scrub, I was hooked. While it didn’t feel as “scrubby” as others (like Chanel) it’s perfection when mixed with the proper amount of water. The base is creamy, like a cream cleanser. This is in-line with Dr. Sturm’s anti-inflammation philosophy, since it’s NOT harsh or damaging to the skin. The scrubbing beads are perfection- and used 2-3 times a week have been wonderful for my congested areas, mainly my chin. While I miss the scent of Chanel’s Gommage, this is definitely my new fave facial scrub.

I bought this because I got a small sample of it and immediately fell in love with it. It’s the most delicate face scrub, so soft and tender for the skin. Afterward it feels smooth, clean and soothes the next treatment for day or night so well. I can recommend it even for sensitive skin.

I really love how this made my skin feel like a dream to touch, but I did get small whiteheads the next day around my mouth. Maybe I scrubbed too hard I’m not sure, but I ended up trying the enzyme exfoliater and that did not break me out do I am sticking with that. I think if you have normal skin this could be amazing for you.

I found the particles in this scrub, albeit not large in size, but effective or maybe even harsh on some skin types. This product reminds me of the Kiehl's Micro-Dermabrasion exfoliating scrub, definitely not for sensitive skins. I'd re-purpose it as elbow/arm scrub as I have KP.

As facial scrubs go, this one is a good one. Quite gentle and not too abrasive. I personally prefer chemical exfoliants for my sensitive skin, but this one is nice. Worth the insane price though? No. I wouldn't spend this kind of money on a scrub again.
