Tom's Of Maine Toothpaste

PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING!!! If I could give this product 0 stars I would. We started using this product in August 2021 as it is fluoride free (the new health trend in holistic wellness). I continued to use it even though it left a film, left a bad smell in my mouth, and probably caused canker sores and cold sores. I don't know if it was partly due to the ingredients in the toothpaste or if I had had COVID. I don't eat much sugar, coffee, or sweets so that's the only explanation. My overall oral and sinus health has been terrible since using this toothpaste. I'm sorry. I would like to warn you and avoid using this product.

I have been using this product for some time. But now it drips out of my mouth while brushing; never had this experience before. Very runny. What happened?

Overall there is no change, it is quite gross and leaves an aftertaste. I will throw it away when I find a good replacement.

The box states that SLS is present in the components, despite the description being "material free: blah blah SLS FREE." I particularly purchased this to use with an SLS-free toothpaste. What is the matter with you guys?

This tube of toothpaste was not sealed when I opened the package. How can I be sure it is a genuine product? I want to receive proof that this is genuine Toms's's toothpaste and not a scam.

My fiancé went to the emergency room because she can't breathe and her lips are swollen. She had to use an EpiPen. And now her ambulance is carrying her. This toothpaste contains about 50 ingredients. No animal cruelty. What about human cruelty???? Dumb. I wondered why she felt sick in her bed every night. It only happened after she used this product before her bedtime. Thank you for the quick arrival of the ambulance.

I am not sure whether this has a new recipe, but since I started using it, my lips have been extremely dry and have begun to crack. This seems to be the only thing I have changed regarding my dental/oral care. I won’t finish it, I mean I have to stop using it.

Although the toothpaste leaves a pleasant flavor in your mouth, it has no whitening properties. I do not need good taste, I want the toothpaste to work effectively.

When I started using it I was experiencing uncomfortable mouth sores at that point, and I had no idea what was causing them. I recently learned that some people react to sodium lauryl sulfate, the chemical that gives toothpaste, soaps, and shampoos their foamy texture. SLS has a caustic effect and is not even required. SLS obviously does not bother a lot of people, but some do.
