I like Aquafresh but this arrived dented and without a seal on either the box or the tube. Not worth the risk so I threw it out.

Aquafresh Toothpaste Reviews

Aquafresh Toothpaste features a specific micro-active foam that goes into hard-to-reach spots, from in-between teeth to the back of your tongue, since your mouth is absolutely unique. You'll notice that your teeth are smoother and cleaner and that they remain that way for long. The Aquafresh Toothpaste has been professionally shown to promote gum health and ease tooth sensitivity. Its dual-action composition provides relief in two ways. The Aquafresh whitening toothpaste forms a protective layer over sensitive regions, thereby reducing tooth sensitivity, and it attacks and eliminates plaque bacteria, which helps to prevent gum disease. You may now treat both sensitivity and gum problems with a single toothpaste that has been specifically developed.

Aquafresh Toothpaste Reviews

If you consider your twice-daily skincare regimen, it's likely sandwiched between brushing your teeth—once in the morning and once in the evening. Because, like our skin, our teeth need to be cared for on a regular basis in order to be healthy.

Brushing your teeth twice a day is a simple yet necessary action. Oral health is related to general health, according to experts; in other words, poor dental hygiene may affect more than just your pearly whites. Brushing (and flossing!) on a regular basis helps prevent germs in the mouth from multiplying and creating havoc. You have to do it, so why not make the most of it by using high-quality toothpaste?

Though whitening toothpaste like The Aquafresh Toothpaste won't make your teeth suddenly brighter like an in-office treatment, they are a wonderful at-home solution for discreetly reducing stains, lessening the look of yellowness, and overall enhancing oral health. While peroxide is still the gold standard for whitening teeth, people who are worried about its harshness may experiment with alternatives such as fluoride, hydrated silica, and charcoal.

The Aquafresh Extreme Clean Whitening Action Daily Care toothpaste has a dynamic foaming action that targets hard-to-reach areas, generating millions of bubbles that remove odor-causing germs.

Aquafresh Ingredients

Abrasives:

At least half of a normal toothpaste is made up of abrasives. These abrasive particles are intended to aid in the removal of plaque from the teeth.  Plaque and calculus removal helps prevent tartar buildup and is frequently reported to reduce cavities and periodontal disease, while the clinical importance of this effect is debatable.   Aluminum hydroxide (Al(OH)3), calcium carbonate (CaCO3), sodium bicarbonate, different calcium hydrogen phosphates, different silicas and zeolites, and hydroxyapatite (Ca5(PO4)3OH) are examples of abrasives.

Abrasives, such as the dental polishing chemicals used in dentists' offices, induce minor enamel erosion, which is referred to as "polishing" activity. Powdered white mica is used in certain brands as a moderate abrasive and to create a cosmetically attractive sparkly shine to the paste. Polishing teeth eliminate stains from the surfaces of teeth, but it has not been proven to benefit dental health beyond the benefits of plaque and calculus removal. Fluorides:

Fluorides:  Small levels of fluoride may be found in plants, animals, and certain natural water sources. The extra fluoride in toothpaste has a positive impact on the development of dental enamel and bones. The most frequent source of fluoride is sodium fluoride (NaF), though stannous fluoride (SnF2), olaflur (an organic fluoride salt), and sodium monofluorophosphate (Na2PO3F) are also utilized. Stannous fluoride is more effective than sodium fluoride in preventing dental cavities and managing gingivitis, although it generates more stains.

Fluoride levels of 1,000 to 1,100 parts per million are common in toothpaste marketed in the United States. Fluoride levels are generally higher in European nations, such as the United Kingdom or Greece; a NaF concentration of 0.312 percent w/w (1,450 ppm fluoride) is normal. According to a 2019 Cochrane analysis, all of these doses are likely to prevent tooth decay. Doses below 1,000 ppm are unlikely to be protective, and the protective impact grows as concentration rises. Clinical research has revealed that using high fluoride dentifrices reduces plaque accumulation, reduces the number of mutans streptococci and lactobacilli, and may induce calcium fluoride deposits to a greater extent than using standard fluoride-containing dentifrices.

Surfactants are substances which are used to wipe and clean surfaces.

Many kinds of toothpaste, though not all, include sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS) or similar surfactants (detergents). SLS is also contained in many other personal care products, such as shampoo, and is primarily a foaming component that allows toothpaste to be distributed uniformly, boosting its cleaning ability.
