I love this serum and the price point! I use it for a boost of hydration and then use my CeraVe moisturizer on top of it. Right after putting this on my skin felt really hydrated and much smoother. I can definitely feel the difference vs. using just a moisturizer alone. Really happy to add this step to my routine and will definitely be buying again!

CeraVe Hyaluronic Acid Face Serum felt the same on my face as the CeraVe Face and Body Lotion. I have not yet noticed the difference in using the serum, but I have only used it for one month. Since it is a serum, I have to assume that it has a higher amount of hyaluronic acid than the aforementioned lotion. I tried to find out the amounts in each product but to no avail. I have not yet called the company, but I will before I repurchase.

It works, but doesn't soak into the skin. Instead it leaves a film that comes off in flakes when I try to apply moisturizer or makeup on top of it.

I used this faithfully - every day for six weeks and noticed zero difference. The worst part is that is sloughs off your face even without applying another moisturizer or makeup. Perhaps that is why it doesn't work - because it doesn't absorb - just comes up. Threw it away.

I absolutely love Cerave products and that is why I was excited to try this hyaluronic face serum. I was very disappointed in the fact that after a few minutes, the product crumbles off. If you touch your face at all, you will feel the sticky balls of product. I will not purchase this item again. :(

What Is a Hyaluronic Acid Serum?

Hyaluronic acid serums are a type of face treatment that effectively reduces the appearance of age signs while also keeping the skin moisturized. There are several factors to examine while choosing a hyaluronic acid serum. The best hyaluronic acid serums must have chemical-free, natural, organic, and gluten-free ingredients. They must also be cruelty-free, affordable, and vegan.

What Is the CeraVe Hyaluronic Acid Serum?

A facial serum called the CeraVe Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum helps bind moisture to the skin's surface, smoothing it out and offering up to 24 hours of hydration. Based on the CeraVe Hyaluronic Acid Serum reviews, it includes moisturizing components that restore the skin's barrier function, such as sodium hyaluronate and panthenol.

Hyaluronic acid, a non-exfoliating acid that can store 1,000 times its weight in water, is abundant in the product, as its name implies. It occurs naturally in the skin, but as we grow older, our bodies produce less of it. If dehydration is a problem, everyone with any skin type may benefit from including it in their regimen. As per the CeraVe Hyaluronic Acid Serum reviews, it draws in and holds onto moisture while softening the skin.

CeraVe Hyaluronic Acid Serum Ingredients

The serum's formula has a milder texture than other moisturizing creams, so it may benefit both those with dry skin and those with oilier skin types, based on the CeraVe Hyaluronic Acid Serum reviews. Ceramides and vitamin B5 are also included in the mixture; the former creates a barrier on the skin that guards against environmental aggressors and prevents water loss. Ceramides are created naturally in the body, much like hyaluronic acid, but their levels decline with aging. As per the CeraVe Hyaluronic Acid Serum reviews, pantothenic acid, commonly known as vitamin B5, helps your skin retain more water to increase its suppleness and elasticity.

This makes your skin seem plumper and may help lessen the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles. The main components of the CeraVe Hyaluronic Acid Serum are listed below, based on the CeraVe Hyaluronic Acid Serum reviews: ceramides are lipids that constitute the natural skin barrier and account for 50% of the skin's makeup. Ceramide has been shown to enhance barrier function and boost moisture, making it appropriate for use on people with dry skin, as per the CeraVe Hyaluronic Acid Serum reviews. The body naturally produces hyaluronic acid, which is a transparent, sticky material. Its main goal is to keep your tissues wet and well lubricated.

Recent research found that the skin's ability to maintain moisture for up to 24 hours after treatment was considerably enhanced by a fluid containing hyaluronic acid. According to research published in the Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology, hyaluronic acid helped reduce the depth of wrinkles while also hydrating and firming the skin after eight weeks. Based on the CeraVe Hyaluronic Acid Serum reviews, the key component that provides hydration is glycerin. According to recent research, a solution comprising glycerin and hyaluronic acid dramatically enhanced skin barrier function and skin hydration for up to 24 hours.
